The Pastel Impression heirloom portrait was such a precious choice for this little doll! Photographing the reference photos for her heirloom portrait was the first time I'd ever worked with her. From getting to know her a little during that session, I can confidently say this precious little expression suits her perfectly and was the most amazing choice for this portrait. 

Sweet girl was already dressed in her Feltman Brothers and ready to go when I arrived at her family home in Raleigh. So while I set up my mobile studio, she and I chatted about her school day, her friends, and her new little brother. I absolutely loved my time with her; she has the most enchanting little presence, and it's obvious she leaves a little sparkle wherever she goes. She knocked her photo session out of the park and was back to the business of play and snacks within just a few minutes. Travelling to my clients home helps take the pressure off the kids and the family. Children can stay in their routine and where they're comfortable.

Once we had settled on the reference proof, I got to work on her heirloom portrait and was so thrilled with the way it came out. I delivered it back to her family about 6 weeks later, and loved getting to see her mom and dad admire it and get it on the wall.
