BREAKING NEWS- DEAR SANTA

CHILDREN'S PHOTOGRAPHY RALEIGH NC

Hi everyone!

I'm popping into your inbox because I have a huge announcement to make about Dear Santa! But before I go any further, the below information is not for little eyes!!!! Please make sure you're alone before you keep scrolling.

Are we kid-free?

No little eyes peeking at your screen?

Last warning...

Our precious Santa has announced his retirement from "Clausing".

This will be the last year he will bring his sweet spirit and magical presence into the studio for Dear Santa. We are sad this chapter is closing, yet so incredibly grateful for our time with him. For 15 years he has helped us create a portrait experience that has turned into a tradition for so many families, making precious memories along the way. Through the years, just short of 2,000 of our clients' little ones have sat upon his knee and hugged his neck. He has been part of our team, one of our biggest cheerleaders, and has helped us work through some tough times with a pep talk, and even a shoulder to cry on. Our precious Santa Claus embodies the Christmas spirit with his gentleness and generosity; he is everything the perfect Mr. Claus should be and there are no words to express how thankful and humbled we are to have spent the last decade and a half working hand in hand with this extraordinary person.

So what does his retirement mean for the future of the Dear Santa Event??

I'm just going to say it; I don't know.

My knee jerk reaction is to retire this event and announce this is our last year. However, I will sit on that decision for a while and do some soul searching. Our precious Claus will leave some giant shoes to fill, and if I don't feel like a potential successor can bear the weight of that responsibility, I will not hesitate to retire this event. I will begin interviewing other Santas in January, and will be sure to announce my decision as soon as I have a clear path on what future years may look like. With all that being said, I think it's within reason to say there's a decent chance the Dear Santa event will be retired after this holiday season.

After discussing this with him, my Santa has been gracious enough to allow me to try to open up some additional availability for those who want to participate this year just in case it does end up being the last Dear Santa. This year's event on November 20th is already on a waiting list, so we are looking at adding another date, depending on demand.

If you would like to be added to the waiting list and notified if we open another day for Dear Santa, please use the button below to request an appointment. I absolutely can't make any guarantees; my schedule is packed and Santa's schedule is packed, but I promise to do my best. As usual, appointments that include one or more children under age 3 will be the most limited.

Also, please share this news with your family and friends who may want to attend this year, should it be our last.

We look forward to seeing so many of you for Dear Santa this year.
