Oh my goodness, this family... I adore them! I met them when they were celebrating their daughter's first birthday milestone, and have been so lucky to see them for several photography sessions since. We did a gorgeous canvas display for their walls a few years ago, and once their youngest got to the right age, we updated that display to include his sweet little face too! We decided to take their family photography session in Wake Forest, which was such a sweet backdrop for their summer portraits.

Their session was hilarious, slightly chaotic, but oh so special. Working with toddlers, you learn quickly as a children's photographer that the little ones are in charge! We roll with the punches and let them lead the flow of the session. This family is amazing though, and as I chase their little ones around with a camera, they grabbed my tripod and gear and chased me! Lots of laughs, and such special memories that are now on their walls. Knowing these families and watching their little ones grow up in front of my camera is such an honor.
