Our children's heirloom portraits are available in three different finishes - traditional charcoal, modern charcoal, and pastel. All three are so stunning for different reasons.

The traditional charcoal heirloom portrait is timeless, and vintage. They are photographed in classic or European style wardrobe and the brushing and artwork is done in a way that is subject centered and emotive. Traditional charcoal heirloom portraits are the same old fashioned style of children's black and white portrait vignettes that were common in the 40s and 50s. These beautiful pieces remain as timeless and classic as they were for our parents and grandparents. 

The modern charcoal heirloom portrait, contrary to how it may sound, is still a beautiful, timeless piece. They are typically photographed with bare shoulders and the sketching and artwork is done is a way that is bold, dramatic, and eye catching.

The pastel heirloom portrait is traditional, classic and Victorian. They are photographed in classic heirloom wardrobe and the painting and artwork is done in a way that is soft, ethereal and slightly whimsical.
